West Ham United is unlikely to sign Paul Pogba in the January Transfer Window, due to the new demands put forward by the player for the same. Although the team had much interest in signing the midfielder, the excessive demands have reduced the signing chances, informed an insider.
West Ham United have been linked with a move of Paul Pogba to the team but it seems that the team is now unlikely to get him to their side, according to some reports. Although the team has been a lot interested in getting Pogba to their team, an insider revealed that the chances of his transfer are slim to none.
This is mainly due to the fact that Paul Pogba is demanding a salary from the team, along with the excess of £160,000 he’ll be receiving every week. Along with that, he’ll also demand a multi-million deal for the deal and his agents are now also demanding a cut for the same.
It has also been confirmed that Paul Pogba will be playing from March 2025. He was given a doping ban for 18 months but it has been reduced to 4 months after some investigation into the matter. His contract with Juventus has also been confirmed to come to an end on 30 November.
He will be released in the form of a free agent and will be available in the upcoming transfer window. His demands to be signed have been excessive along with the team’s challenges, due to which the chances of him being signed look minimal.
