A scripted sequence primarily based on WWE chairman Vince McMahon’s Nineteen Nineties trial for allegedly supplying steroids to WWE wrestlers is being developed.
Blumhouse Tv has partnered with WWE for the sequence titled, ”The United States of America vs. Vince McMahon”, that would be the first scripted portrayal of part of the corporate’s historical past and the celebrities of that period.
The protection caught the eye of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and federal prosecutors in New York, who indicted McMahon on fees of possession of unlawful steroids with intent to distribute and conspiracy to distribute steroids. McMahon stood trial and was acquitted unanimously by a jury of his friends and went on to construct a multi-billion-dollar international sports activities leisure empire.
“We have now a dramatic, riveting saga – one which’s crazier than fiction – that may enchantment to the cross-section of Blumhouse and WWE followers,” added McCumber.
