Viktor Gyokeres talks about his summer transfer decision, revealing a shift to the Premier League. He has performed well for Sporting CP, scoring 26 goals in 22 games this season. Although being targeted by multiple teams, he is likely to be a part of Manchester United.
Viktor Gyokeres has been linked with a big transfer in the next few months, and finally he also revealed the speculations for his upcoming transfer move. Playing for Sporting CP in this season, he has been a formidable player with 26 goals in just 22 appearances so far, which also increases his demand in the Transfer Window.
Various teams have already been linked to sign Gyokeres, which includes Liverpool, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Barcelona. But it has also been reported that Manchester United is likely to get the player to their line-up. Viktor Gyokeres has also shown interest to be a part of the team at Old Trafford.
This will further help him to mark a spot in the Premier League and reunite with his former boss Ruben Amorim. He is reported to have a €100 million as a release clause in his contract, but it is also expected that the club will lower it to €70 million.
Although he has not named any club officially to the media regarding his transfer, he recently said,“I don’t play in the Premier League like others do, but I have done the best I can where I am. I also showed it in Europe, in the Champions League and with the national team, so it was not just in Portugal.”
