The IPL toss often throws up amusing moments, and the match between Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants was no different. Skippers Rishabh Pant and Riyan Parag shared a light-hearted exchange as Parag, standing in as RR captain, forgot to flip the coin properly during the toss.

‌The Rajasthan Royals are coming off a Super Over defeat just days ago. They were close to chasing down 189 against the Capitals, but a brilliant last over from Mitch Starc turned the game. A crucial dropped catch by Maheesh Theekshana on the final ball led to an extra run, ultimately proving costly. Now languishing in 8th place with only two wins, the Royals must regroup quickly. As they prepare to face LSG, their main challenge will be curbing the visitors’ powerful top order.

Just before the toss between Lucknow and Rajasthan, a funny moment unfolded between the two skippers. RR’s stand-in captain Riyan Parag forgot to flip the coin and simply tossed it straight up. Rishabh Pant quickly pointed it out, joking that the coin has to be flipped too. In a lighthearted twist, Pant ended up winning the toss and opted to bat first. The incident caught the attention of fans, and social media lit up with reactions to the quirky exchange.
