Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: BJP MP from Bhubaneswar Aparajita Sarangi on Wednesday requested the Ministry of Residence Affairs to debate with Odisha Authorities for complying with the Excessive Courtroom order on the allowance of Residence guards and tackle their long-standing calls for.
Elevating the problem within the Lok Sabha, Sarangi stated the Supreme Courtroom in March, 2015 had ordered to pay the Residence guards at par with the police personnel. However, the order has not but been complied with following which Odisha Residence Guards Affiliation had moved the Orissa Excessive Courtroom.
The HC had directed the Odisha Authorities to pay Rs 533 to the house guards as every day obligation allowance. However, the Excessive Courtroom order is but to be complied with, she stated.
As a substitute of paying them Rs 533, the State authorities is paying solely Rs 300 to the Residence Guards who’re a part of the police power however will not be common staff.
“I wish to request the Ministry of Residence Affairs to debate the matter with the State authorities and tackle the lengthy standing calls for of the Residence Guards,” Sarangi added.
