‌PAK vs WI | Twitter reacts to chirpy Rizwan labels Multan deck as ‘Graveyard’ to welcome Sinclair

Tough conditions built tough characters. Obviously, the renovated Multan pitch using an artificial greenhouse trembled the West Indies batters in the first Test against Pakistan and Mohammad Rizwan took every advantage of it to sledge Kevin Sinclair as he walked up to bat on the second day.

Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan’s continuous resistance was followed by a Pakistan collapse in their first innings, courtesy of Jomel Warrican and Sinclair’s impressive bowling. But the visitor batters failed to compliment them with the bat, as Pakistan spinners, Sajid Khan and Noman Ali wreaked havoc in their batting order, quickly fetching seven wickets halfway through the second session. The contest got a little spicy when Tevin Imlach got out and Sinclair made an entry in the field.

With Windies reeling at 42/6 in the twelfth over, Sinclair was greeted into the field by chirpy Rizwan in a unique fashion. The wicketkeeper-batter intended to exert additional pressure on the new batter by a bit of words behind the stumps. The stump mic caught the gloveman cite, “ Yeah brother, come to the graveyard.” The batter didn’t act much but nodded his head before marking his crease and getting ready. Certainly, the Twitterverse was taken aback by Rizwan’s chirp and guffawed on social media.
