A fast bowler’s delight is always evident when he claims a vital wicket, providing his team with a crucial breakthrough. Such was the case on the second day of the Test match between Pakistan and England, where Matthew Potts’ superb delivery dismissed Salman Agha, sparking an animated celebration.

‌Thanks to Kamran Ghulam’s brilliant debut century, Pakistan had a solid start on the first day. On the second day, overnight batters Salman Agha and Mohammad Rizwan resumed play, with Brydon Carse opening the bowling. Carse soon dismissed Rizwan for 41, leaving him short of his half-century. Salman and Aamer Jamal steadied the innings, taking the score to 294/6 in 100 overs. However, Potts broke the partnership by dismissing Salman, celebrating with intensity.

On the last ball of the 101st over, Potts bowled a good-length delivery outside off-stump, which shaped away slightly. Salman attempted a backfoot shot with some extra bounce but only managed a thick outside edge. The ball flew to wicketkeeper Jamie Smith, who comfortably took the catch. Salman departed for 31, leaving Pakistan seven down. Potts, visibly thrilled, gave Salman a send-off by pointing his finger, gesturing him to return to the pavilion. The incident stirred reactions on Twitter, with many commenting on Potts’ fiery celebration.
