PAK vs ENG | Harry Brook’s heroics and Joe Root’s class propel England to a dominant victory over Pakistan

388797

‌On Day 4 of the Test match, Harry Brook made history by scoring a remarkable triple century, helping England reach a massive total of 823/7. In response, Pakistan struggled badly and ended the day at 152/6 after 37 overs. The final day began with Agha Salman and Aamer Jamal batting, while Gus Atkinson began the proceeding with the ball for England. With a huge deficit to cover, Pakistan’s situation looked dire. Their woes continued when Brydon Carse was dismissed by Aamer Jamal in the 45th over.

England was just three wickets away from victory when Salman fell, followed by Shaheen Shah Afridi, leaving Pakistan in a tough spot. Naseem Shah was also dismissed, and with Abrar Ahmed unable to bat due to illness, England secured their win by an innings and 47 runs. This match marked Pakistan’s sixth straight loss in Test cricket and their seventh defeat at home in their last nine Tests.
