Bhubaneswar (Odisha) [India], January 19 (ANI): Odisha will make all efforts to increase absolute help to its sportspersons who’re aiming to qualify and win medals within the 2021 Khelo India Youth Video games at Panchkula in Haryana.
The Principal Secretary, Sports activities (Odisha), Vishal Kumar Dev, mentioned this throughout an interplay with senior officers and chief coaches of seven state sports activities associations at a workshop held on Tuesday on, ‘Collaborative Partnerships for Odisha to Excel in Khelo India Youth Video games’.
This was one of many many who will likely be carried out for the sports activities associations and chief coaches of the state within the coming days.
The workshop was organised by the Sports activities and Youth Providers Division, Odisha, together with office-bearers of seven of the state’s sports activities affiliation within the first part, to debate their coaching and competitors programme within the countdown to the following Khelo India Youth Video games.
Dev urged the office-bearers of the sports activities associations to plan their annual actions in a scientific and scientific method to spice up up the prospects of Odisha’s sportspersons who’re aiming to excel on the 2021 Khelo India Youth Video games.
Dev mentioned, “The Sports activities & Youth Providers Division, Odisha will provide all forms of help to the state sports activities associations and the younger expertise within the state to win medals on the 2021 Khelo India Youth Video games. I request all of the officers and chief coaches to work collectively and provide you with systematic and scientific planning to help the efforts of our sportspersons on the Video games.”
The office-bearers from seven state sports activities associations who attended the workshop, together with their respective chief coaches, included the secretary of Odisha Weightlifting Affiliation, Narayan Sahu, Odisha Kho-Kho Affiliation secretary, Pradyumna Mishra, Odisha State Judo Affiliation secretary, Purna Chandra Mishra, Odisha Gymnastics Affiliation secretary, Ashok Kr. Sahoo, Odisha Badminton Affiliation secretary, Nileen Kumar, Odisha State Bowling Affiliation secretary, Sumit Ranjan Purohit, the working president of the Odisha Swimming Affiliation, Pradip Kr. Padhee.
