Bhubaneswar: The Housing and City Growth (H&UD) Division has signed an MoU with City Administration Centre, Ahmedabad, for a structured capability constructing of the Mission Shakti SHGs.
H&UD Division has deliberate for a structured capability constructing of the Mission Shakti SHGs by making a pool of trainers and mentors, in addition to strengthening the capacities of ULB functionaries engaged in sanitation-related work.

The MoU was signed by G Mathivathanan, Principal Secretary H&UD division and Ms Manvita Baradi, Director UMC in presence of Pratap Jena Minister Panchayati Raj , DW, Legislation, Housing & City Growth.
Talking on the event Minister Jena instructed that Odisha is a number one State in prioritizing strong waste administration according to the sustainable growth objective of creating cleaner cities and has bagged plenty of Nationwide in addition to Worldwide recognitions for its sustained effort on this regard.
Our state has envisioned 100% waste administration and has created wealth centres that converts the waste collected from the households into wealth, the Minister added.
