Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Public Service Fee (OPSC) has on its web site invited on-line functions from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professors in several State public universities. The method for on-line registration would start on February 15. The candidates would be capable of apply at http://opsc.gov.in on or earlier than March 14.

The OPSC would conduct the recruitment drive to fill 504 vacancies. Out of the overall vacancies, 48 positions are for Utkal College, 28 for Sambalpur College, 35 for Berhampur College, 64 for Kalahandi College, 14 for Fakir Mohan College, 34 for Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanj Deo College, 106 for Ravenshaw College, 63 for Rama Devi Girls’s College, 23 for Gangadhar Mehr College, 5 for Khallikote College, 72 for Rajendra College and 12 for Shri Jagannath Sanskrit College.

A candidate should possess a Grasp’s Diploma with 55% marks (or an equal grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is adopted) in a involved/related/allied topic from an Indian college or an equal diploma from an accredited international college.

A rest of 5% shall be allowed for candidates belonging to SC, ST and PWD candidates.Additionally, a candidate should clear the Nationwide Eligibility Check (NET) carried out by the UGC or the CSIR or an analogous take a look at accredited by the UGC.
