The NGT’s East Zone bench in Kolkata issued the order on the idea of submissions of Dr Pradeepa Nayak, atmosphere scientist, state atmosphere influence evaluation authority (SEIAA), Odisha, on Monday.
Nayak is a member and nodal officer of the committee shaped by the tribunal on July 1 to establish the veracity of allegations about unlawful stone quarrying over huge tracts of land adjoining mining lease areas in Sata Dhangudi hill.

The committee consists of senior scientist from Odisha State Air pollution Management Board, senior scientist from SEIAA, senior scientist from built-in regional workplace of the ministry of atmosphere forest & local weather change and district collector, Ganjam.
