Bhubaneswar: The Odisha authorities in the present day suspended an officer of the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) as a disciplinary continuing is being contemplated towards him.
The Income and Catastrophe Administration Division vide an order issued in the present day positioned OAS officer Bibekananda Parida, ex- Tahasildar, Begunia presently serving as Deputy Collector (Income) within the workplace of the Sub-Collector, Cuttack below suspension with rapid impact as disciplinary continuing is being contemplated towards him.
The order stated that throughout the interval of suspension Parida’s headquarters has been mounted at workplace of the Sub-Collector, Cuttack.
He shall not depart the headquarters with out acquiring the prior permission of the Sub-Collector, Cuttack and he’s entitled to get fee of subsistence allowance in accordance with rule-90 of the Odisha Service Code.
In keeping with studies, whereas Parida was the Tahasildar of Begunia he was requested to conduct an inquiry into the alleged fraudulent Sarua land deal of Odisha Infratec Pvt Ltd (OIPL), a sister concern of Odisha Tv Ltd.
Parida had allegedly not carried out the inquiry correctly and by misusing his official capability had given a clear chit to the promoters of OIPL.
He has been suspended following allegations of misuse of official capability towards him, studies added.
