Bhubaneswar: The Odisha authorities on Wednesday introduced suspension of lessons of Commonplace IX and XI in all colleges throughout the State amid rising circumstances of Covid-19.

“In view of the prevailing COVID-19 scenario, the instructing of sophistication IX & XI pertaining to all colleges i.e. Authorities, Authorities Aided and Non-public colleges is suspended with speedy impact till 30.04.2021,” Sahu wrote to all S&ME administrators and District Training Officers.
“The scholars of those two lessons residing in Hostels/ Residential Faculties are allowed to return to residence instantly. If required, colleges might take up on-line lessons,” Sahu stated
He, nevertheless, stated the lessons of X and XII college students will proceed until April 25.
“The lessons of sophistication X & XII will proceed as regular until 25.04.2021 as notified earlier as the scholars of those two lessons shall be showing Board/ Council Examinations. The COVID applicable behaviour like use of masks, sustaining social distancing and hand hygiene are to be ensured for the scholars staying in Hostels,” he added.
