BHUBANESWAR: The State authorities on Saturday constituted a 14-member knowledgeable committee to counsel various analysis standards for Plus II examination.
Faculty and Mass Training Minister Samir Ranjan Sprint stated the committee will counsel well-defined various goal standards for evaluation of standard and ex-regular college students whose Plus II remaining 12 months exams had been cancelled on account of Covid-19 pandemic.
As per a notification issued by Council of Greater Secondary Training (CHSE), the panel to be headed by former BSE president and Examination Controller of Utkal College Sushant Kumar Das will submit its report inside 10 days.
The opposite members of the panel are programme supervisor of Tutorial Efficiency Monitoring Cell at SCSTRTI Subash Chandra Das, SME division Joint Secretary SK Nayak, CHSE Vice-Chairman Tushar Kanti Tripathy, OSHEC Tutorial Advisor Mihir Kumar Das and different educationists and senior colleges.
“With no exams being held since final 12 months in view of Covid outbreak, how the evaluation will probably be completed is a serious activity at hand,” a senior CHSE official stated.
The target standards will probably be mounted for round 3.5 lakh college students of Arts, Science, Commerce and different streams scheduled to look the annual Plus II exams this 12 months.
The academics’ affiliation had earlier raised the problem stating that the scholars had already bought promotion final 12 months after exams had been cancelled as a result of outbreak of the pandemic in March.
