Bhubaneswar (Odisha) [India], June 7 (ANI): Stating that every one stand united within the battle in opposition to COVID-19 pandemic, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making vaccination a nationwide mission.
Taking to Twiter, Patnaik wrote, “Each life is treasured. Nobody is protected till each one is vaccinated. As a nation we stand united on this battle in opposition to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank PM Narendra Modi Ji for making vaccination a nationwide mission.”
In a major choice, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday introduced a centralised vaccine drive saying that the Centre will procure 25 per cent COVID-19 vaccines that have been to be carried out by states.
Addressing the nation, he mentioned from June 21, all folks above 18 years in all states can be offered vaccines free by the Centre.
“A choice has been taken in the present day that 25 per cent of vaccination work that was with states, that accountability can even be taken by the Centre. It is going to be applied within the coming two weeks. Each the State and Central authorities will work as per new pointers within the coming two weeks,” he mentioned.
He added that over 23 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses have been given within the nation and the provision of vaccines will improve within the coming days. (ANI)
