Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cupboard on Tuesday (March 23) authorised the “State Degree Sports activities Infrastructure Improvement Mission” for the event of sports activities infrastructure at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, and Worldwide Hockey Stadium, Rourkela.
The venture with an estimated outlay of Rs 356.38 crores is supposed for the event of infrastructure at Kalinga Stadium and the development of a brand new hockey stadium at Rourkela to conduct FIH Males’s World Cup Hockey 2023.
Odisha is the host for the FIH Males’s Hockey World Cup-2023 with venues at Bhubaneswar and Rourkela.
For this function, a brand new Worldwide Hockey Stadium is meant to be developed at Rourkela with a seated capability of 20,000 spectators.
