Bhubaneswar (Odisha) [India], March 3 (ANI): An acid assault survivor Pramodini Roul entered into wedlock along with her long-time pal Saroj Sahoo in Bhubaneswar on Monday.
Roul described it because the “finest day” of her life.
She hails from the state’s Jagatsinghpur district and determined to brush apart the traumatic recollections of the acid assault. She shared her story from being a bedridden woman to the girl who chased the wrongdoer and put him behind the bars. Roul had survived a lethal acid assault in 2009 when she was solely 16 years previous.
Sahoo and Roul met one another in 2014 in a hospital the place the latter was admitted for her remedy and since then Sahoo had been caring for her.

Roul has acid thrown on her face by a military official Santosh Kumar Bedanta on Might 4, 2009. She spent seven months in a hospital in Cuttack after the assault.
She was bedridden for five years in her home. When her situation deteriorated she was admitted to a non-public hospital in Cuttack thereafter she met Sahoo.
He proposed to Roul in 2016 and the engagement was performed in Lucknow in 2018. Many survivors of acid assault additionally participated within the marriage. (ANI)
