While earlier reports suggested an official offer from United, respected Nigerian journalist Buchi Laba clarified that no bid has been made yet. However, he confirmed United have made it clear that Osimhen is their first choice. The striker has also attracted interest from other top clubs including Barcelona, Liverpool, and PSG. Juventus, too, are monitoring the situation. Napoli are reportedly willing to let Osimhen go for around €75 million (£64m), a fee considered reasonable for a player with 76 goals in 133 appearances for the Italian club.
United may attempt to reduce the cost by including Alejandro Garnacho, valued at £50 million, in a potential swap deal. Garnacho is believed to have quietly put his house up for sale, further fueling speculation.
