Lewandowski Hails Former Bayern Munich Teammate’s Impact

Robert Lewandowski went on an interview with Rio Ferdinand, the legendary Manchester United player. He talked about the partnership of him and Thomas Muller when they played together for Bayern Munich.

Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller have been one of the most formidable attacking duos in football history. They were partners from the 2014 season and played together till 2022. In this time, they were able to lift every Bundesliga title and came up with an impressive total of 19 trophies.

Recently, Robert Lewandowski had an interview with Rio Ferdinand, a legendary Manchester United player, where he talked about the time he spent with Thomas Muller when they used to play together for Bayern Munich.

He started off by saying that Muller has been an intelligent player on the field, and continued by telling the ways in which he and Muller communicated with each other during the game for some successful goals. Thomas Muller, in his style, used to yell for the blocks allowing the remaining players to help him to block on the other side.

Robert Lewandowski said he always trusted the decisions made by Muller during the game and followed them. He further talked about his leadership value to the team, with the contributions of his aggressive attack. Lewandowski and Muller’s contributions have been fruitful to Bayern Munich when they played together for years.
