Bhaker wrote her name into the history books as she became the first Indian female shooter to secure an Olympic medal and the first Indian to win more than one medal at a single edition.
The 22-year old Bhaker posted a photo with the right-handed batsman, mentioning that she was learning some cricket tips from him. This is not the first time, Bhaker is showing her love for cricket. She has previously talked highly of legendary cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni in various interviews.
The Haryana girl clinched a bronze medal in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol event and, alongside Sarabjot Singh, secured another bronze in the Mixed 10m Air Pistol event.
Speaking of Suryakumar Yadav, he recently led the Indian team in the T20I series against Sri Lanka, marking his first time as the full-time captain in the shortest format. The Mumbai batsman made an impressive start, steering the Men in Blue to a 3-0 series sweep over the hosts. Yadav’s upcoming international test is the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, starting on October 6 in Gwalior.
