The Pakistan Cricket Board has revealed the playing XI for the second Test against England, which starts on Tuesday. Kamran Ghulam is set to make his debut, replacing Babar Azam, who has been ruled out of the series. Noman Ali, Sajid Khan, and Zahid Mehmood are also included, with Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Sarfaraz Ahmed rested. Abrar Ahmad is unavailable due to illness.
Saim Ayub, despite a disappointing performance in the first Test, retains his place as an opener alongside Abdullah Shafique, who scored a brilliant century in the first innings. Skipper Shan Masood, who played a superb knock of 151 in the first Test, will bat at No.3 and aims to secure his first win as captain.
The second Test will be played at the Multan Cricket Stadium, the same venue as the first match, while the final Test of the series will begin on October 24 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
