The Atal Setu in Mumbai has created a mindblowing record. Since its inauguration seven months ago, India’s longest sea bridge connecting Mumbai with Navi Mumbai, has been used by over 5 million vehicles according to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).

This is an extraordinary achievement for Mumbai and the bridge. The traffic included 47.4 lakh cars, 50,020 mini buses and light motor vehicles, 59,799 double-axle vehicles, 73,074 three-axle vehicles, 80,277 four-six axle vehicles, and 503 oversized vehicles, averaging about 22,000 vehicles per day over 227 days.
