Playing their first game of the season at home, Shubman Gill opted to field first at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. To the naked eye, it seemed like he was plumb in front, and Shreyas suggested Maxwell walk off without reviewing. However, minutes after, the replay showed that the ball was missing the stumps, probably due to Sai Kishore’s high-arm release, causing a Twitterverse frenzy and disappointing Ricky Ponting.
