With the Indian Super League (ISL) qualification at stake, Churchill Brothers and Inter Kashi battled to a dramatic 2-2 draw at Raia Panchayat ground on March 30, 2025, in front of 8,257 fans. The match was a fierce contest, featuring seven yellow cards and two red cards, highlighting the intense physicality.

Churchill struck first in the 57th minute, with Jose Moreno heading in Gutierrez’s free-kick. However, Inter Kashi responded quickly—Edmund Lalrindika equalized in the 63rd minute, and just two minutes later, Nikola Stojanovic capitalized on a goalkeeping error to put them ahead 2-1.

With time running out, Churchill pushed forward desperately. Trijoy Dias missed a golden opportunity in the 90th minute, but in stoppage time, Lalremruata’s shot deflected off the post and into the net.
