There are three other players who had scored four goals but unfortunately, they were not able to score in the previous encounters. Yunus Akgün from Galatasaray was able to score goals in four consecutive games of the tournament but his streak came to an end in the previous match against AZ Alkmaar.
Along with that, Ayoub El Kaabi and Samu were also not able to score goals in their previous games, which allowed Varga to gain the top spot in the rankings. There are a total of 15 players in the tournament who have tied the spot with three goals each, and Varga is the only player with five goals.
