FC Barcelona’s midfielder, Frenkie de Jong is likely to continue with the team, as his agent denies a move to the Saudi Pro League in the January Transfer Window. De Jong still finds it challenging to find a spot in the team’s playing squad.

One of FC Barcelona’s players has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League in the January Transfer Window. However, it has also been reported that the agent of Frenkie de Jong said that the midfielder is currently not looking forward to a move to another league, despite the amounts being offered.

However, Frenkie de Jong is currently having a hard time finding his spot in the Barcelona squad, as he is not being preferred in most of the games. With players like Marc Casado, Pedri, Gavi, and Dani Olmo in the main squad, his playing time has also reduced in the current season.

Along with that, the situation of his contract with FC Barcelona has not been confirmed, which puts him in a challenging situation as the upcoming Transfer Window approaches. The advantage of this situation has also been taken by several clubs of the Saudi Pro League, who have been looking forward to grabbing the player in a massive deal.

His agent, Ali Dursun said recently that all the news and speculations related to the midfielder’s transfer to the Saudi Pro League are false, as he is not exploring options for the same. Further, Dursun also revealed that Frenkie de Jong is expected to have a contract renewal with Barcelona.
