Arsenal are closely tracking Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike, who has scored 18 goals and provided six assists in 36 appearances this season. The 22-year-old French forward, valued at €42.3M, dreams of a Premier League move, but Frankfurt demands at least €80M. Newcastle United are also interested if Alexander Isak departs. Arsenal, seeking a new striker, have a seven-man shortlist, with Benjamin Sesko and Ollie Watkins as top targets.
With the summer transfer window approaching, Arsenal are closely monitoring Hugo Ekitike’s situation at Eintracht Frankfurt. The 22-year-old French striker has impressed this season, scoring 18 goals and providing six assists in 36 appearances across all competitions. Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly demanding at least €80 million for Ekitike, significantly higher than his estimated transfer value of €42.3 million.
Arsenal are yet to make a formal bid, but a move to the Premier League is considered a “dream” for Ekitike. Newcastle United are also interested in signing him as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak if the Swedish striker leaves this summer.
While Ekitike is on Arsenal’s radar, he is just one of several attacking targets for Mikel Arteta’s side. The Gunners have drawn up a seven-man shortlist for a new centre-forward, with RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko identified as their top target. Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins is another option, while Athletic Club’s Nico Williams has reportedly agreed to join Arsenal to strengthen their wide options.
As Arsenal look to reinforce their attack for the 2025–26 season, their pursuit of Ekitike will depend on their willingness to meet Eintracht Frankfurt’s valuation and competition from other top European clubs.
