Albert C. “Al” Shoenberger, 85, of Tyrone, and a visitor at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Heart, Altoona, died Sunday. Al was born in Bellwood, son of the late Fred and Mary Emma (Estep) Shoenberger.
On July 10, 1956, on the Spring Mount Church of the Brethren, he married Darlene Clapper who preceded him in dying on
Sept. 23, 2019.
He’s survived by a son, Ronald C. Shoenberger Sr., of Tyrone; a grandson, Ronald C. Shoenberger Jr.; a great-grandson, Bryson Shoenberger; and twin sister, Alberta (Donald) McCahan of Tyrone.
Al was a 1954 graduate of Tyrone Space Excessive Faculty. He was a member of Sinking Valley Presbyterian Church. Al was a farmer by commerce and following his labor on the farm he started a second profession as an tools supervisor with Tyrone Athletics. He was employed with the college district for over 20 years. His dedication and onerous work was second to none and appreciated by all the coaches and athletes that have been fortunate sufficient to have performed when Al was the supervisor.
Al was a member of the Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder Hearth Firm, Tyrone Monogram Membership and the 1999 PIAA AA Soccer Golden Eagles state championship staff. He was additionally an enormous sports activities fan.
On the request of the household, there will probably be no service for Albert C. Shoenberger. A non-public inurnment will probably be made at Arch Spring Cemetery on the comfort of the household. Preparations are by Richard H. Searer Funeral House Inc., Tyrone.
