Dempo responded in the 36th minute with a brilliant free-kick goal from Trinidadian Marcus Joseph. The visitors showed more urgency in the second half, frequently breaking through Delhi’s midfield. However, Delhi goalkeeper Debnath Mondal preserved the lead with a key save in the 55th minute.
