Angel Gabriel Orelien opened the scoring in the 43rd minute with a brilliant solo effort, while David Castaneda Munoz doubled the lead in the 73rd minute, netting his 10th goal of the season to become the league’s joint second-highest scorer. Rajasthan United responded quickly, with Maicol Cabrera heading home in the 75th minute, but it wasn’t enough to avoid defeat.
Despite Rajasthan United’s aggressive start and high-press strategy, they struggled to break down Sreenidi Deccan’s resilient defence. Seiminmang Manchong and Naoba Meitei came close, but the visitors held firm.
