Army, Rangers to be deployed in Lahore for tri-nation series – Pakistan

LAHORE: The interior ministry has allowed the deployment of army and rangers for security duties of New Zealand and South Africa cricket teams for the tri-nation cricket series in Lahore.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government has made security arrangements and planned deployment of one company each of the army and rangers.

The tri-nation matches will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium on Feb 8 and 10 and in Karachi on Feb 12 and 14.
