Liverpool’s likely loan deal in the January Transfer Window falls apart, as Romano confirms a fresh exit for one of the team’s midfielders. Stefan Bajcetic confirms to leave the team, as he joined another on a loan deal.
Liverpool has been reported to have made some more changes to their transfer plans in the January Transfer Window. The team has recently decided to cancel the loan deal of young midfielder Stefan Bajcetic to get a new one. But, a football expert Fabrizio Romano also said that there is no possibility for the other team to accept permanently buying the midfielder.
The midfielder joined the team from Celto Vigo in December 2020, for just a price of £224,000. But his first appearance for the team came in August 2022, where they were able to secure an impressive 9-0 win over Bournemouth. Following this, he was able to become a crucial part of the team, playing 19 games in the season for Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
On the other hand, their new manager Arne Slot has made a decision to block another midfielder from leaving on a loan deal. This shows that the team is looking forward to keeping some players instead of giving them out on loan. However, Stefan Bajcetic suffered from injury issues due to which he did not receive many opportunities to play in the following season.
Liverpool decided to put him off a loan deal and sent him to RB Salzburg in Austria, but he was unable to perform well for the team and was offered to be benched rather than regular play.
