Gary O’Neil gets sacked as the manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers, as the team’s poor form in the Premier League continues. Graham Potter was expected to be the new manager but he declined returning as a manager.
Gary O’Neil was sacked as the manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, and the team is now looking forward to the new manager as soon as possible. This news came when the team lost its previous match against Ipswich Town on Saturday, which also turned out to be the last encounter for O’Neil as the manager.
Wolverhampton Wanderers has not been able to perform well in the Premier League, as the team has just two wins in the sixteen games they have played so far. The poor form of the team continues, as they have only been able to secure a win in one of the last ten games they have played.
Therefore, this came out to be the major reason why the team’s management brought some new changes to the same. Vitor Pereira currently comes out as the best option for the new boss of the team, as he is currently working with Al-Shabab in the Saudi Arabia Pro League.
David Moyes and Carlos Corberan have also been in the news to be the new manager of the team. And recently, it has been reported that Graham Potter has also joined the race, as he has not worked with any team after being removed from Chelsea last year. Potter said that he currently does not have any interest in returning to the vacancy.
