This match is expected to be intense, as Dempo SC will be trying to regain their winning momentum to enter the top three in the I-League standings.
The team lost its previous match against SC Bengaluru by 3-1, where only Saiesh Bagkar was able to score a goal for the team in the first half. It was also the team’s first loss in the tournament, as they aim to secure their third win of the season in the match against Sreenidi Deccan.
On the other hand, Sreenidi Deccan also lost its previous match against Delhi FC, which came in as a narrow 1-0 loss for the team. Even after the loss against SC Bengaluru, the team’s manager Samir Naik said,“In terms of performance, I believe this was our best outing across the first four matches. However, in football, results take precedence over performances. We lost our concentration during critical moments, and that ultimately cost us the game”
