Newcastle United is likely to sell four players in the January Transfer Window, to meet the requirements of the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR). Miguel Almirón comes in as one of the four sells for the team.
Newcastle United is preparing themselves for the January Transfer Window, for which the team might even have to sell a few players to meet the required funds. It has been reported that the team is eager to sell four players in the upcoming Transfer window, Miguel Almirón coming out as one of their sells.
The remaining three players have been veterans for the team but they are expected to leave the team in the next few weeks. Chris Waugh said that the winger is among the four players who are expected to depart from the team, as the other players include Kieran Trippier, Callum Wilson, and Martin Dubravka.
By selling these players, it will help Newcastle United to follow the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR). He further said,“Newcastle are looking to sell players in the January window as they hoped to do during the summer. While Yankuba Minteh and Elliot Anderson left in June, Almiron, Trippier, Callum Wilson and Martin Dubravka were among others who could have gone, had suitable offers been received.”
Miguel Almirón’s situation could be true as he has not received much playtime in this season, being a part of the team for just 103 minutes in the Premier League.
