Lewandowski’s Heroics Secure Barcelona’s 3-0 Victory Over Brest



Robert Lewandowski scored two goals in the UEFA Champions League match against Brest, helping Barcelona to rank up at the 2nd spot in the standings. He also became the third player to cross the 100 goals mark, along with Messi and Ronaldo.

Barcelona and Brest went against each other in the UEFA Champions League, and this game came out to be a dominant win for Barcelona, as they won 3-0. Taking the advantage of the home ground, the team started off well with Robert Lewandowski scoring the first goal at 10 minutes in the form of a penalty kick.

Although Brest tried their level best to perform well and were able to defend for a long time, Dani Olmo also went on to score the team’s second goal in the 66th minute of the game. The match further continued with Robert Lewandowski scoring his second goal of the match in the extra time of the game.

This match also helped Lewandowski to become the third player in the tournament to cross the 100 goals mark. Along with that, he has also joined the list of greats, as the other two players in this list are Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The win against Brest helped Barcelona to boost themselves in the standings, as the team now stands at the 2nd spot with 12 points in the five matches they have played. The team now stands just one point behind Inter Miami, who holds the top spot, as Liverpool is also behind them in the third place.
