Didier Deschamps, the manager of France, talks about the current mental health struggles of Kylian Mbappe. He urged him to take a rest from the UEFA Nations League, which will help him to focus on the 2026 World Cup.

Didier Deschamps talked about the tough time through which the Real Madrid forward, Kylian Mbappe is going through. He discussed this along with another team player, Konate, who shared his thoughts on Mbappe’s mental health.

Having a look at his mental health concerns, Deschamps won’t be taking Mbappe to play for the team in the upcoming clashes of the UEFA Nations League. This will further help him to get prepared for the 2026 World Cup. It has also been reported that the relationship between France Manager and Kylian Mbappe has not been good for some time.

In an interview, Didier Deschamps said,“He is facing a complicated, more difficult situation. Talking about depression, I’m not sure. A footballer is a human being. The atmosphere is different now due to the level of exposure.”

Deschamps also showed some care for Mbappe in the interview, being concerned with his mental health and giving him the necessary rest. He also said that the pressure on the players has been extremely high.

Ibrahima Konate, who is one of Mbappe’s teammates, said,“If he has psychological issues, we will always be there to help him.”
