On the fifth ball of the 20th over, Shreyanka Patil bowled a short delivery that turned outside off stump. Molineux read the line well and aimed to loft it over the backward point. However, she mistimed the shot, sending the ball high into the air straight to Jemimah Rodrigues. Despite diving, Rodrigues couldn’t hold on to the catch. Amidst the chaos, the Aussie pair took a single, and Molineux pushed for a second run, but Litchfield hesitated. Rodrigues quickly threw the ball to Patil, who collected it and whipped off the bails to dismiss Molineux. The incident also sparked plenty of reactions on Twitter.
