IND vs BAN | Twitter buzzes as Jadeja’s spellbinding delivery shocks Shanto and seals his dismissal

Ravindra Jadeja

India was firmly in control on an exciting Day 4, thanks to aggressive performances from Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul. The Men in Blue posted 285/9 before declaring their innings. In response, the Bangladesh batters faced an uphill challenge as Shadman Islam and Mominul Haque took to the crease. However, Haque was dismissed by Ravichandran Ashwin, and the woes continued when Ravindra Jadeja claimed the wicket of Najmul Hossain Shanto with a stunning delivery.

On the second ball of the 28th over, Ravindra Jadeja delivered a length ball aimed at the leg stump. Shanto attempted to play a reverse sweep and inadvertently exposed his leg stump, creating a gap that Jadeja could exploit. Shanto misjudged the bounce as the ball approached, underestimating how high it would rise. Instead of connecting with his bat, the ball slipped past, leaving him stunned. Caught off guard by the unexpected bounce, the Bangla talisman found himself in a precarious position, unable to defend his wicket. The Indian contingent was delighted as Jadeja’s introduction into the bowling attack proved to be a strategic success for them. The incident took Twitter to express their amazement at Jadeja’s performance.
