IND vs BAN | Twitter reacts to Litton Das in shock after Rohit Sharma pulls off unjustifiable one-handed stunner

Resuming after two and a half day’s break due to shoddy weather conditions, Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim looked careful against the day’s opening spell from Akash Deep and Jasprit Bumrah. However, the decision to give them an extended spell worked well for India with the latter cleaning up Mushfiqur halfway through in the 43rd over. Subsequently, Litton Das hit three fours to Bumrah and showed his attacking nature. However, it didn’t last long, courtesy of the Indian captain’s outstanding effort.

After the 45th over,  Mohammad Siraj was brought in as a first-change to bowl in tandem with Ravindra Jadeja. On the fourth ball of his third over of the day, the Hyderabad pacer bowled a fuller one around the fourth stump that Litton intended to shimmy down and clear the mid off region. Having incurred three dots in the over, the idea of going down the V region didn’t pay off for Litton as Rohit at mid off perfected the leap and grabbed a one-handed stunner to leave everyone around stunned. Seeing the Indian captain pull off a tracer bullet out of thin air left Litton utterly shocked as he stood for a brief period gazing at it before trudging off the field. Meanwhile, the Twitterverse joined a jubilated Indian camp and buzzed around social media.
