Bhubaneswar: An eight-year-old lady little one was rescued by Childline, Bhubaneswar on Tuesday night. The kid belongs to a village beneath Jasipur police limits of Mayurbhanj district.

Reportedly, her mother and father are working as every day laborers and belong to a tribal Neighborhood. Because of the Covid pandemic, they have been unable to earn cash and therefore it turned tough for them to rearrange meals for 4 youngsters.

Thereafter, a nurse of a non-public hospital approached her mother and father to ship the minor lady to work at her home as a babysitter and to assist her in family chores at Nandan Vihar in Bhubaneswar.

In consequence, being a sufferer of acute poverty and pandemic she was trafficked to Bhubaneswar for Rs 2000 per 30 days. The minor has been working with the nurse for the final six months and her wage is distributed to her mom by the employer.

The minor taken care of the nurse’s one and half-year-old child. Extra usually she was bodily abused by the employer. The minor escaped from her house at about 3.30 p.m on Tuesday afternoon as she was once more bodily abused by the nurse.
